00:00Dance fans in Dubai are in for a treat as Sharmila Dance throws its 14th annual extravaganza

00:13at DuckTac this weekend.

00:15The show highlights a variety of different dance styles and will feature over 200 dancers

00:19ranging from amateur to professionals, performing an array of choreography and proving their

00:23hard-won skills to adoring fans.

00:26Today is our first proper stage rehearsal, so we'll be doing blocking of the movements

00:33on stage where people stand, where the props come in, and then we'll go through a proper

00:39run-through.

00:40If you love dance, you're going to love this show because it's got jazz, it's got hip-hop,

00:44it's got Latin flavour, it's pretty much anything that you love.

00:49It's a show that I would love to watch, whether it was me choreographing it or not, I would

00:52love to go and see so many youth and adults that are so passionate about dance and you

00:58can definitely see it on stage, but I hope you can't.

01:11The growth of the show over the years has motivated both dancers and choreographers

01:15alike to rehearse tirelessly in the days leading up to the big event, honing their skills to

01:19ensure the show is a continued success.

01:21If something just comes over you and you just think like, this is my time, right or wrong,

01:28remembering choreography, forgetting, pointing feet, flexing, anything, it just doesn't matter.

01:35It doesn't matter.

01:36It becomes one thing that you own and you're in control of and you're like, I'm ready to

01:42give my heart, I'm ready to just let it all out.

01:50With a myriad of skills and styles on display, this event is sure to appeal to a wide audience
