00:33I cook, they chorus that they want grandma's or mama's potato chops. My pulao turns good.

00:41Don't ask me why, because everybody keeps coming and watching me how I make the pulao,

00:47but they say, ours doesn't come this way. Even if we go back and try. When they come

00:51to Goa, they really enjoy it because the food that we do, in many places, it's still prepared

00:57in the traditional way. Like it's cooked on firewood. It's cooked in earthen vessels.

01:04The masalas are all ground on a stone. And that makes them really enjoy the food and

01:09it does taste different that way. Rice, curry and fried fish is the staple food of a normal

01:20Goan that you would find in any home, rich or poor.
