00:00It is the Michael Jackson Immortal Tour by Cirque du Soleil that is going to be here.

00:22And it's going to be here very soon.

00:24It's the end of the year and into the beginning of next year during the Dubai Shopping Festival.

00:28We have around 60 performers.

00:30It's in its third year of touring and it's made its way around the world.

00:34My work essentially is done.

00:36That's the good part.

00:37That was the hard part and now it's the kind of great part because I get to sit back and

00:40watch.

00:41I started this show in early 2011, debuted in October of 2011.

00:45My creation process actually started in 2010.

00:47My direction, my writing the story for the Immortal Tour by Cirque du Soleil happened

00:51really then and acquiring all the performers and putting the show together for its launch

00:56in October 2011.

00:57And now it's just a little baby that gets to go out in the world on its own and grow.

01:02It's really a journey where in our characters in the show who are a combination of dancers

01:07and other acrobatics, gymnasts and artists, they go on this journey which really goes

01:11into the fantastical world that is Michael Jackson that we all remember, love and know.

01:16When we get to experience his music, his iconic looks and that means the way he used to dress

01:20and perform and the sequined glove that we all probably had at one time.

01:24And then into his different kind of areas of himself really which are the humanitarian

01:28Michael Jackson.

01:29We go down that road.

01:30We go down, you know, his love of animals in the Neverland fairytale world.

01:34Then we go into the straight pop, iconic, smooth, criminal, thriller, dance star that

01:40we loved in Michael.

01:41But in the end, it all culminates with us ending up in Neverland and on this global

01:46journey together as one in Michael's world.

01:49And then there's a little twist that happens where you'll see one of the characters evolve

01:52into and become part of that world in a very special way.

01:55The show that was created, the show that I wrote and directed was really about the love

01:59of Michael Jackson, the man that we all remember and who affected us and really globally affected

02:05and changed the world.

02:07He was a maverick for his time.

02:08Cirque du Soleil is a maverick in their field.

02:10It makes sense that these two entities would unite to create the biggest show on earth.
