00:25in order to control its price in the market.

00:31The DA still needs to know the reason behind the questionable increase in the price of pork.

00:37At the moment, the price of pork is around P370 to P400 per kilo.

00:43Now, the price of pork is around P240 to P250 per kilo.

00:49If ever the DA discovers that there is a profiteering or hocus-pocus on the price,

00:54the DA will continue to cut the MSRP.

00:57The agency will also look at the profit margin in the value chain

01:00and will ask the corporate dealers and other stakeholders for their opinion.

01:04The sellers and buyers have the same favor in putting the MSRP on pork.

01:10Of course, it is more important for us to cut the MSRP because it will help the family.

01:16We want a lower price so that more people will buy.

01:20Meanwhile, the MSRP in rice can be lowered to P52 from the current P55.

01:26If the MSRP in rice goes back to P58,

01:30the DA will target to lower it to P49 by the end of March.
