Mahomes takes blame for Chiefs Super Bowl defeat

Patrick Mahomes took the blame for the Chiefs' poor start to the Super Bowl, which they lost 40-22.

00:05Those early turnovers swing the momentum of the game and then they capitalized on it.

00:10They scored on the one and then they got pushed out immediately after.

00:13So that's 14 points that I kind of gave them.

00:16It's hard to come back from that in the Super Bowl.

00:19It just didn't play to my standard and I have to be better next time.

00:23Anytime you lose a Super Bowl, we'll stick with you the rest of your career.

00:28Those will be the two losses that will motivate me to be even better the rest of my career.

00:34You only get so few of these and you have to capitalize on these.
