00:11I gotta tell you I was very very depressed and

00:14Envious when I saw that trailer when you said you build a house in 96 hours

00:18Because by the time you get through permit and zoning out here, it takes years. I know don't we know there's no excuse

00:23No, we both built houses recently mine took two years and I said to my builder

00:27I said do I have news for you? You could do this in 96

00:37Yes, so it's back we knew it and loved it before obviously, but this was different from the original right?

00:42Yes, the reboot is reimagined and it has all the elements you loved from the first. We are moving buses

00:48We are building houses. We have amazing families, but

00:51I'm looking at photo

00:53But you know

00:54We have something called the edit zone in this in this season and we actually work with the family to go through every single item

01:00In their home. We so they're not on vacation this time. No, you're coming to work with us

01:04But you meet the family so much more you get so much more connected to them and you also

01:08You know

01:09There are so many emotional landmines and things that happen in the edit zone

01:12It's it really brings a different element to your change in life. Speaking of edit

01:16We both know you from the hit Netflix show get organized with the home edit

01:22What was it about this particular opportunity that I mean what an incredible opportunity who would say no to this

01:27This is like a dream a chance of a lifetime

01:29We get to go and change all these people's lives in such a humongous way and working with partnering with ABC

01:34It's just been incredible, right? It's a legacy show and to be able to be a part of that. We were like, are they sure?

01:39Yeah, do they know who we are? Right? We don't

01:42We said yes, but we were like, oh don't find out. Yeah. Yeah and find out they did. I'm sure

01:47Yeah, what were some of your favorite transformation, oh my gosh, it's like picking children. I know how do you even pick?

01:53Yeah, I think the Warrens was the first episode

01:55So like that stands out just in a different way because it's like kind of your first

01:58But right but in that episode pilot the first episode. There's an incredible transformation that happens with a specific

02:06We lost

02:08He's just choked up

02:12Good tears. Yes, but there's a real transformation a life transformation that happens and it was so powerful

02:18We both called our husbands and said you and the kids need to fly out tomorrow

02:22We're what's about to happen. That's incredible. Now the two of you clearly have no chemistry at all

02:29To watch you two. So, how did you first get into business together? Well, we actually got introduced from a mutual friend

02:35We went on a blind friend date

02:37Joanna did not want to be in business with that. Sure. I know my own business. I've always had my own businesses

02:42Okay, it was okay not on my radar. You're like I'm like a lone wolf

02:45Barely wanted to have lunch with me. Oh, yeah

02:48We did go to lunch and four hours later. We got up as business partners

02:52I was started our company that day right incredible friends and started the business the same day. Okay. Got it

02:57Okay. Yeah, love is how we do it. Are you feeling fantastic?

03:27I mean she makes me laugh more than anyone I know and I just can't tire of her like she's just

03:40Yeah, and but we do have a lot of different strengths and weaknesses, but so much of it is

03:46None. Yeah, and and clear you've been doing all this well bravely. Excuse me battling breast cancer

03:54How are you feeling number one? I am feeling decent. I just had my eighth surgery on Monday

04:00So only a couple of days ago and I'm an insane person who just keeps marching on and

04:06I'm insane Joanne. I was supposed to fly to LA on Tuesday the day after my surgery and Joanna said she would not fly with

04:12Me I said, you know what? Maybe we just give it one day

04:17That's a good friend right there she's got you covered that's right. Okay. Well, then you're feeling I'm feeling pretty good

04:24All things considered. Okay, you know

04:30We also saw that you were an architectural digest featuring your home right there

04:34What was the biggest inspiration designing the home that took two years?

04:37Yeah, not 96 hours not the 96. Yes. So my biggest inspiration I love Paris

04:43I went to school there for part of my life and I really wanted old Hollywood and Parisian glam

04:49So I kind of had like a Chateau Marmont like yeah thought process and in building this house

04:55And my designer Lindsay Rhodes, she's the genius. I I just said yes to things

04:59She sourced so much of it from Paris and Italy, you know vintage items and she's amazing stunning interiors and Joanna

05:06Your home is so beautiful. So warm. What was your design is? Thank you. I just love texture and wallpaper and color

05:12I just never shy away from any of those

05:20That's exactly right and where is home ladies, we're in Nashville. Oh, I'm Nashville great area. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm from LA
