Postecoglou passionately defends Spurs players after disastrous week

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou hits out at 'agenda-driven' criticism of his players after their FA Cup exit.

00:03job that's fine I'm not up to it or whatever that what I'm saying is you

00:07can't be critical of players and players performance during this time because if

00:11you do then then do that with everyone else yeah like I said be as critical of

00:16other clubs when they've got nine or ten eleven players out and none of them have

00:19and have to play every week not just for one game so I'm not just saying we had

00:23to do it today we've been doing this for the last since the middle of November

00:27and you can't judge performance of these players or or critique them on

00:33what they've done all they've done is given all they can and that's all you

00:36can ask for me I doesn't that's not of interest to me I'm my responsibility at

00:43this football club is this group of players and this team to get them to

00:46play in the manner I wanted to that will bring us success now where the people

00:50think I can do that or not that's that's for others to judge but there's got to

00:55be a better appreciation for what a very small group of players have been

01:00doing for the last two and a half months it's just it can't be that people think

01:05that that's an excuse that's just not anywhere near close to objective

01:13analysis that's just agenda driven stuff if it's to get rid of me then that's

01:19fine you know good on you go for it million times but in terms of this group

01:23of players I said what they've given over the last two and a half months has

01:29been outstanding it's a credit to them I can't speak highly enough of them
