00:00The National Economic Development Authority, which is the priority of the government,

00:05is trying to address the country's inflation.

00:08According to NEDA, the steady inflation rate this January

00:12is showing that the government is in the right direction

00:15to meet the stable prices of the country's main goods and services.

00:21The agency added that even if the inflation in rice dropped to negative 2.3 percent,

00:27which is an indication of a drop in prices,

00:29the government is still trying to make it more affordable.

00:34This includes the declaration of the National Food Security Emergency

00:38where the stock of rice can be sold by the NFA.

00:41The storm and African Swine Fever will end

00:45while the target is to lower the prices of electricity in the country.
