00:21But yeah, you know, sort of gather there were sort of attempts to get

00:26stuff lined up and but nothing got especially far.

00:31It was an attacking player.

00:33I think that they went a little bit down the way on.

00:37But again, nothing particularly close and no major effort made.

00:42So yeah, I mean, it was all about throughout the window.

00:47Danny Real said that you only want your players of big impact and that

00:52we're going to make a big difference and you just wonder whether those

00:55sort of players weren't available on the final day.

00:58Obviously, concerns there about the defence.

01:01I think the striker, personally, you know, less of a priority given

01:05Wednesday's scoring record has been very good so far.

01:09But yeah, concerns certainly about the strength and in-depth in defence,

01:13I think.

01:14Yeah, I always remember looking back to, I think it was Darren Moore's

01:19second January, where he spoke so much about wanting to finish the month

01:23stronger than they started it.

01:25And they didn't do that that year.

01:28And you know, that ultimately cost them automatic promotion.

01:31Would you say that Wednesday have finished this window stronger than

01:34they were before, even if it is only slightly?

01:38Yeah, I don't think it is slightly.

01:39I think the signing of Stuart Armstrong is an excellent one, you know,

01:43on a number of levels and Ibrahim Sissoko is a really lively player.

01:50If they can get him fully fit and firing, then he can be a big plus as

01:53well, you know, and they've retained the rest of the squad.

01:56So, I think they are considerably stronger.

01:59It's just in those areas, you know, defence in particular, you just

02:03wonder, you know, they're an injury or a suspension away from a bit of

02:06trouble, I think.
