00:00The Philippine Basketball Association is now preparing for the selection of 10 official names

00:05who will be among the 50 greatest players in the history of the league as part of the Grand 50th Anniversary Celebration.

00:13Commissioner Willie Mangshal announced the formation of a panel led by four-time MVP Ramon Fernandez,

00:22along with the co-MVP Atoy Co and Allan Kaidik to study and evaluate the 10 honorees

00:30who will be included in the list of 40 greatest players who were first chosen by the league.

00:36Fernandez, Co and Kaidik were also included in the selection committee.

00:40Champion coach Dante Silverio, former commissioner of the league Reynolds Sonny Barrios,

00:46former sports editor Dingmarcelo Almendoza, sports editor of the Philippine Star Nelson Beltran,

00:55who is also the president of the Philippine Sports Writers Association of PSA,

00:59and veteran broadcasters Kenito Henson and Anne Guihao.

01:04The panel will be formed on February 6.

01:07According to Mangshal, this will be a series of discussions to discuss the right names

01:15to be included in the new list of PBA's Greatest Players.
