00:00I had got a ticket for the Renaissance, only one,

00:03queued all day from 11 a.m. to when the show started

00:09and I was just waiting for Beyonce to come out

00:12and I was talking to everybody.

00:14The beehive is so kind and we all just show love

00:17and respect each other, like taking pics,

00:19having fun before the show.

00:21So I turn around and then I see my friend Ashley

00:25and I just was like, whoa, she's so gorgeous

00:27and we just started talking and hit it off from there.

00:30We built a friendship and we just talked every day,

00:34hung out, flew down to see each other

00:36for each other's birthdays and just grew a friendship,

00:39you know, both loving Beyonce and the experience

00:43at the Renaissance was special to us

00:44so that just made us closer.

00:46And we were like, in November, I told her,

00:48I was like, I always wanted to go to Tokyo.

00:51And so we planned it and, you know,

00:53we had no idea Beyonce would be there.

00:56We were just shopping at Louis Vuitton.

00:58We were already dressed, you know,

00:59had our outfits on for the day,

01:01taking pics, shopping, whatever.

01:04And another friend that I met at the LA birthday show,

01:08she texts me a link on Twitter

01:11about Sony doing a meet and greet.

01:14She's like, girl, this is in Tokyo.

01:17And I was like, no way.

01:20And we had saw the signs because days before that,

01:23Beyonce posted a real drinking some Japanese alcohol.

01:27And I was like, that's weird.

01:29I was like, I have a trip coming up to Tokyo.

01:31Anyway, I told my friend, you know what?

01:34I just called the Uber.

01:35It's three miles away.

01:37Literally, Sony was three miles away.

01:39And I was like, girl,

01:41and then I translated the whole Sony article to English

01:45and it said the first 150 fans.

01:47So I knew the time was running out.

01:50So we left instantly.

01:52I was like, we dropped everything we were gonna buy.

01:55And we got there.

01:56She was number 96.

01:58I was 97.

02:00And we had to buy a CD and wait in line.

02:03And there was Beyonce.

02:05We were listening to her new album,

02:06Cowboy Carter in the room with her.

02:09So it was insane.

02:10I walked up to her.

02:12She looked me up and down.

02:13She's like, oh wow, I love your outfit.

02:16And that like blew my mind.

02:18And I was just like, I just want you to know,

02:21coming from a small town, Texas guy,

02:24your music really meant a lot to me growing up

02:26and it still does.

02:27And your impact is so major.

02:30And I was just like, I love you and I admire you.

02:32I could tell she took in my words as I took in hers.

02:36And it was like the most beautiful moment ever.

02:39I feel like music is really important in art.

02:42And when you find someone that you connect with like that,

02:44that you can really look up to

02:46and they help you get through life,

02:48it just, you know, it's really deep and it means a lot.

02:51So I wanted to express that to her

02:54and I could tell she took it in and she was very grateful

02:57and she showed that,

03:00which was, it's always great

03:01when your idol shows you that love back.
