Will Smith's ready to lay the smackdown at the Grammy Awards Sunday ... not literally, we hope, but he is presenting at the biggest night in music -- his first major awards appearance since he slapped Chris Rock in 2022.

00:03You can't forget the Oscar slap of Will Smith hitting Chris Rock at the Oscars in 2022.

00:09It's been almost three years since he did that and was banned.

00:14So he's in the middle of a 10-year ban from the Oscars.

00:17But he will be back on an awards show stage this weekend at the Grammys,

00:23where Will Smith, they've announced that Will Smith is going to be one of the presenters.

00:27It will be interesting to see him in that setting again, standing at a podium, on stage,

00:34where awards are being handed out.

00:36And even for him, I would imagine it's going to feel a little weird.

00:40But not that we're expecting any violence.

00:44This is a friendly setting for Will, obviously.

00:47He's got new music out that clearly he wants to promote.

00:50And the Grammys are here for it.

00:52I'm sure they want the attention as well.

01:19they are going to say something.

01:21Somebody is going to say something.

01:22They are risking a slap.

01:23For sure, one of them would definitely have to make a joke about it.

01:28Will would have to laugh along with it at this point.

01:32And that's why they can say whatever they want because they know at this one time,

01:38I hope Nicky wins because she'll light him up.

01:43And Dave Chappelle, he's friends with Will but also really good friends with Chris Rock.

01:51I would think for that reason, Eric, that's why he's not going to be presented.
