00:00Again, the leader of the Philippine National Police is pushing the reorganization of their ranks.

00:05According to PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil,

00:09there is not enough reform where the national police should be civilian-centric.

00:15In addition, PNP Chief,

00:17this will only be fulfilled if the DILG Act of 1990 is amended

00:21to change the structure of the organization of the police from being a militarized force.

00:27The formation of a flatter structure is to strengthen their responsibility,

00:32to be closer to the community,

00:34and to reduce bureaucratic delays that affect their response.
