Justin Baldoni is following through on his vow to release all his communications with Blake Lively ... revealing a nearly 7-minute apology he sent her at 2 AM while they were working on the "It Ends With Us" script.

00:00What we are going to tell you about is a remarkable piece of audio.

00:03Justin Baldoni leaving a message, a voice message for Blake Lively at 2am.

00:11Now, the 2am we can get into in the context of is that strange or not,

00:16but this was while they were making It Ends With Us.

00:20And actually it was before, I think this was before they started filming it,

00:23he was referencing and apologizing for his reaction to a rewrite

00:29that Blake Lively had done. We've heard a lot about this rewrite.

00:32It's been mentioned in his lawsuit where he says that

00:38Ryan Reynolds showed up unexpectedly and then Taylor Swift showed up unexpectedly

00:43and both of them were there sort of cheerleading in his description,

00:47cheerleading for Blake and this rewrite she'd done of this key scene in the movie.

00:53Now, apparently his reaction to that, that rewrite...

00:57It's not a good one, it sounds like.

00:58No, and so he felt he needed to apologize.

01:02Ends up leaving a 6 minute 40 second...

01:06A 7 minute, he didn't leave a message, he left a podcast on her phone.

01:10It was so long and the whole thing...

01:13Basically what he did. Now, the reason he's releasing this,

01:15he says he wants to be completely transparent about all the communication

01:20that he and Blake had while making this movie

01:22and he believes that in the end he will be vindicated

01:25and it shows that he did not harass her

01:28and that he was merely trying to do his job as the director of this film.

01:33So here is the message and it starts with the apology,

01:36but I will say that there are a few things in here that people who are Team Blake...

01:40Listen to his voice. That's what I want.

01:43Pay attention to the tone of his voice and keep in mind it was at 2 a.m.

04:13and I there's another part where we didn't play it here,

04:22and I get that that could be an acting term,

04:25but it still comes across a little strange in this situation.

04:28What I do like is that I feel like he's pulling a playbook out of the Johnny Depp case

04:32where it's like I'm going to put out everything.

04:34I'm not going to hide anything and let it be as it is because it worked for Johnny.

04:39So it could potentially work for him even if it is super cringy,

04:42which I felt a lot of listening to this,

04:44but he's being open and not hiding anything.

04:46That's actually a smart move

04:47and and that comes as Blake's team is doing everything they can they've written now,

04:52I believe three letters to the judge asking for a gag order

04:57and asking for sanctions against Brian Friedman Justin's attorney

05:01saying that they don't want him saying all this stuff

05:03because they think it is going to taint any potential jurors

05:07and by the way, they have set a trial date.

05:10Now. I've been saying all along Harvey's been saying we don't believe this is going to end up in trial.

05:15That's going to be in court. They don't want to sit for depositions,

05:18but they've set a trial date next March.

05:21So we got a long way to go 2026.

05:25We have a long wait for this.

05:53and his ability to be empathetic

05:56and I think she could she could use some more empathy in her life.

06:06Also, she's the one who texted him saying come into my trailer

06:10while she was breastfeeding.

06:11So yeah, that is another one of those text messages that he put out

06:15and his point all along has been we are not picking

06:18and choosing we're not cherry-picking which messages

06:21and we are not going to edit them or doctor them.

06:23We want it all out there.

06:25I will say have you ever had a case where it goes back

06:27and forth like one week.

06:28I feel like that's wow.

06:30I am I am she is definitely the one in the wrong

06:32and then the next week I'm like he's the one in the wrong.

06:34I have never flip-flopped so much before this case.

06:38It's been swinging back and forth since since the summer

06:41when the movie came out.
