Those convicted in connection with the January 6 riots received no fair trial as the authorities were biased against them and Donald Trump, pardoned January 6er Brandon Straka says.

00:00OK, so what was it that, I mean, you'll just have to explain to our viewers, what was it

00:04about the plea deal that made you think it was worth signing?

00:08Well, because I've always said, for me, it was never a question of how do I win and how

00:13do I lose.

00:14When you're going up against the federal government, you're only going to lose.

00:18So it becomes a question of how do you lose the least?

00:21How do you get through a situation like that with as much of your life intact as possible

00:26when you come out the other side?

00:28And for me, taking a plea deal was really the only option because the government has

00:33gotten a 100 percent conviction rate on January 6th cases because they will only allow the

00:40jurisdiction for the cases to be heard in Washington, D.C.

00:44So this is a district that has voted 93 percent against Donald Trump.

00:49These people hate Donald Trump.

00:51They hate his supporters.

00:53And now you've taken these people and put them basically in a trap in these courtrooms

00:57where the jurors and the judges who are deciding their fate hate them and have this idea in

01:04their head that these people are violent insurrectionists, white supremacists and all these things that

01:09they've been told.
