00:00Hi, my name is Robert, I'm a cabinetmaker from Germany and today we will visit Grotta

00:20Mangiapane in Sicily.

00:38So it's a very interesting place because it seems like the time stopped and there's a

00:43lot to discover, different workshops and they have different kinds of animals and producing

00:52food like ricotta or drying fish.

00:57It's a place between agriculture and culture.

01:02What amazed me the most is that you can actually see that people were really living there and

01:07using the place and apparently, I don't know, 50 years ago there were families living and

01:15creating a very special place inside this grotta.

01:45This place invites you to imagine how it was before, how people lived when actually families

02:04were living there and making a living out of holding animals and producing food or working

02:11with iron and wood, of course.
