00:00SGP, or Synergy Grid and Development Philippines, Inc. accepted President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr.'s allocation

00:07for the 20% shares of NGCP, or National Grid Corporation of the Philippines,

00:12held by Maharlika Investment Corporation.

00:15The President witnessed the addition of SGP and MIC to the binding sheet.

00:19As of now, the ownership interest of SGP is at 40.2% in NGCP.

00:24Through the agreement, two board seats of NGCP will be included in MIC

00:30and two additional board seats in SGP.

00:33Because of the agreement, the government will have more influence and control

00:38in an important energy infrastructure

00:40to ensure that every Filipino has a reliable and affordable supply of electricity.
