00:00A neonatology center and ambulatory surgical facility in Cebu has been formally opened to the public.

00:06It is part of the Health Facilities Enhancement Program of the Department of Health.

00:10This is the center of the news of Jesse Atienza of PTV Cebu.

00:16The opening of the neonatology center in Vicente Soto Memorial Medical Center is now formal.

00:22In this 8-story building, you can see comprehensive mother and child services

00:28such as Human Milk Bank, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics Consultation Rooms,

00:35Women and Children Protection Center, and Ambulatory Surgical Facility.

00:40Doctors and officials of the hospital, government officials,

00:47and officials of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas or OPAV,

00:53The neonatology building stands as a beacon of hope and compassion.

00:59It represents our devotion to providing the highest standards of care to our youngest patients.

01:09It is investing in the future of the Philippines by giving every child a fighting chance.

01:18Aided by the state-of-the-art medical technologies

01:22and a team of dedicated and well-decorated healthcare professionals.

01:29Presently, there are 17 specialty centers in Vicente Soto Memorial Medical Center.

01:34The addition of the neonatology center is a big help

01:38because it provides state-of-the-art medical services

01:43regardless of the state of their parents and families.

01:48We are really proud with Vicente Soto to our visitors

01:54because as I said, this is not just the pride of Region 7 or the Visayas.

02:05It is both an envy to both DOH hospitals,

02:12both the local government hospitals, and even the private hospitals.

02:26The Health Facilities Enhancement Program is part of the priority projects of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
