Julian Nagelsmann has penned a contract extension to take his tenure with Germany beyond the 2026 World Cup

00:03The most important thing is that I want to signalize to the team, just like before the home World Cup,

00:07that I want to have absolute rest for the World Cup.

00:09I want to signalize to the team that I will hopefully qualify for the World Cup with everything that goes with it.

00:16I want to be there and do everything to make sure that we are successful and ideally win the title.

00:21I just want to signalize that I want to be a part of it,

00:26that I want to work towards this peak, which is ideally at the World Cup,

00:30and maybe even at the European Championship afterwards.

00:33We all want to dream big, but step by step.

00:36I think that's a good sign and I'm extremely happy that the DFB trust me
