00:00Printing of ballots for the midterm polls was delayed anew this time around not because of the intervention from the highest court

00:13On the third time the Commission on elections printing of ballots for the

00:182025 national and local elections has been delayed not because of a temporary

00:23Restraining order from the Supreme Court this time, but another withdrawal of candidacy from a senatorial aspirant

00:30He is Francis Leo Marcos who was recently one of those candidates

00:34It was favored by SC to receive a TRO according to come elect chairman George Irwin Garcia

00:40This cost them another two to three days delay

00:53At least a national candidate. We will resume the printing of the ballots by Monday at all costs

01:02But because of the delay there are questions circulating on social media

01:06Asking why not just include nuisance and disqualified candidates on the ballots?

01:11Common X answer is simple. They only abide by the law

01:29There are also questions raised that maybe the delay is caused by common like themselves for mistakenly

01:35Numbering candidates such as Ramon Bong Revilla, which was numbered 11, including Bong as his surname

01:41but the comic argued this is just the same with the

01:452019 ballots where Ravilla used Bong as part of his surname and this was also granted by a court order way back

02:11The comic assured the people there are no mistakes on the ballots and they only abide by the rules of court
