President Trump has made waves with a series of executive actions, including pardoning 23 anti-abortion protesters and ordering the release of long-classified files about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. These significant decisions are further defining his controversial legacy, sparking new discussions on the abortion debate and the enduring mystery of JFK’s death. The move to declassify the final assassination files raises fresh questions, while the pardons highlight Trump’s ongoing support for anti-abortion activists. These developments are igniting widespread debate across the country.

00:00Okay, very good. We've signed some executive orders. They were very important in just about
00:07every case. And we'll go through the first one, please.
00:11Do you want to? Yeah. Mr. President, this is an executive order
00:14on crypto. We're going to be. Oh, sorry. We're doing that. Sorry. This is an executive order
00:19on AI. We're basically announcing the administration's policy to make America the world capital in
00:28artificial intelligence and to dominate and to lead the world in AI.
00:33Do you want to say your name, your full name? Yeah, David Sachs, AI Crypto Czar.
00:37David is one of the greatest in the world at AI. Most respected, probably, there is.
00:52So that should take us to the forefront, right? Absolutely. We've got to win.
00:59Okay. Thank you. And this, David, is? Yeah, this is the crypto EO. We're going to be forming
01:09an internal working group to make crypto, to make America the world capital in crypto
01:14under your leadership. Which is really going up, right?
01:17Absolutely.
01:27All right, David, that's for you. Thanks, sir.
01:37You find them exciting? They might not be exciting, but we're going to make a lot of money for the country.
01:43Thank you, sir. And so is David. You have to check him out. There's nobody like this guy.
01:49He said, how did you get David Sachs? How did you do that? And he's doing it for the country
01:56more than anything else. So we appreciate it, David. Thank you very much.
02:00This is an executive order establishing a presidential commission, an advisory commission
02:05on science and technology.
02:12Do you want to explain that a little bit? The basic idea is to get together top people
02:23from the government, the private sector, technology industry, as well as educational institutions
02:30to make sure that America maintains its leadership position with respect to science and technology
02:35development in the years ahead.
02:38Good. That's great.
02:43Next, sir, we have a presidential memorandum encouraging departments and agencies in your government,
02:48including the Department of the Interior, to promote federal recognition of the Lumbee tribe
02:54of North Carolina.
02:56I love the Lumbee tribe. So this is the first big step, right?
03:00This would be a huge step for them.
03:02They were with me all the way. They were great. North Carolina, Lumbee tribe.
03:17You'll send them a copy of that?
03:19Yes, sir.
03:20They were great.
03:26If you'd like, I could get them that pen, sir, as well.
03:28Yeah.
03:33Next, we have a set of pardons for peaceful pro-life protesters who were prosecuted by
03:39the Biden administration for exercising their First Amendment rights.
03:43Do you know how many?
03:45I believe it's 23, sir.
03:47Twenty-three people were prosecuted. They should not have been prosecuted.
03:55Many of them are elderly people. They should not have been prosecuted.
04:02This is a great honor to sign this.
04:22They'll be very happy.
04:23So they're all in prison now?
04:25Some are. Some are out of custody.
04:28Ridiculous.
04:30Okay.
04:31Lastly, sir, we have an executive order ordering the declassification of files relating to
04:37the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend
04:42Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
04:44That's a big one, huh?
04:46A lot of people are waiting for this. We're along for years.
04:50For decades.
04:54And everything will be revealed.
05:02Okay?
05:05Give that to RFK, Jr.
05:08Yes, sir.
05:10Okay?
05:16Okay. Thank you very much.
05:18Mr. President, Mr. President, Mr. President, a U.S. judge temporarily blocked the birthright
05:24citizenship order. Do you have any reaction?
05:26No, obviously we'll appeal it. They put it before a certain judge in Seattle, I guess,
05:31right? And there's no surprises with that judge.
05:36Mr. President, Senators Collins and Murkowski have now said they will vote against Pete
05:41Hegseth. Are you worried about his confirmation and your reaction?
05:45And no surprises there. It's too bad. It's the way it is. Too bad.
05:50And when would you adjourn Congress to make recess appointments, Mr. President?
05:54Well, I'd take a look at that. I'd listen to John Thune. He's doing a fantastic job.
05:58We're moving along. The Democrats are trying to delay government, as they always do. They
06:03can't help themselves. Even John Ratcliffe, who's very, very strong, very popular, and
06:10liked by the Democrats. I guess he gets a lot of Democrat votes. That's taking a long
06:15time, and it shouldn't be taking a long time. They're maxing everything out so they can
06:19delay everything as much as possible.
06:21Does Senator McClain support an effort to use recess appointments if you choose to do
06:27that?
06:28I'd be willing to use recess appointments. It's up to John. We'll see. John Thune's a
06:33great guy, great senator, knows his stuff inside out and backwards. But I would use
06:38recess appointments if he wants to do that. Absolutely.
06:43The Democrats are just delaying. They always delay.
06:47Mr. President, you spoke with the Saudi Crown Prince yesterday.
06:50Who?
06:51The Saudi Crown Prince. How was the call?
06:54Great.
06:55And they said $600 billion they can invest.
06:58$600? I'll ask them for a trillion.
07:00You said you're going to ask them for a trillion. Will Saudi Arabia be the first foreign country
07:04you will visit since they invest in that much money?
07:07If they do that, I would be glad to do that. I did it, as you know, four years ago. We
07:12did $450 billion, meaning the money all goes to American companies, and they purchase jets
07:19and they purchase computers and everything else. And we did $450 billion, and I guess
07:25we're at $600, $650.
07:28Mr. President.
07:29I'll see if I can talk him into it.
07:32You showed great confidence in Steve Whitkoff.
07:35Why you said that you doubt that the ceasefire in Gaza will hold since you appraised his
07:41headquarters?
07:42I think he's great, but it's a very tricky place. It's very tricky. We'll see. And if
07:47something does happen, they will not be happy.
07:51Sir, follow up on that one. In terms of Steve Whitkoff, are you going to put him in charge
07:56of Iran's strategy, and do you want him talking directly with the Iranians?
08:00No, but he's certainly somebody I would use. He's done a fantastic job. He's a great negotiator.
08:04He's a very good person, a very popular person, gets along with people. I have great negotiators.
08:11They have no personality whatsoever. And then I have some that Steve has a wonderful way
08:16about him, and people like him. And even in this case, both sides like him. And he was
08:21able to make a deal. That deal would have never been made without Steve. The Biden people
08:26couldn't make the deal. They were working on it for a year and a half. They couldn't
08:29make a deal. We got it done prior to the inauguration. We said it has to be before the inauguration.
08:35I mean, the deal should hold, but if it doesn't hold, there'll be a lot of problems.
08:40Mr. President, related to your AIEO, just hours after you made that big Stargate announcement,
08:45Elon Musk tweeted that they don't actually have the money. Is that true?
08:49I don't know if they do, but they're putting up the money. The government's not putting
08:53up anything. They're putting up money. They're very rich people. So I hope they do. And I
08:58mean, Elon doesn't like one of those people. So.
09:03Are you worried this AI is going to replace many American jobs?
09:08No, no, no. It's going to create tremendous numbers of jobs. It's going to also create
09:13a lot of benefits medically for cancer research and other things. It's going to have a huge
09:18positive impact. And you know, we want to be ahead of China. We're right now way ahead
09:22of China. David Sachs is one of the all time experts, you know, that people are amazed
09:28that he you just met him. I don't know if he's still here. There he is. But but one
09:33of the most respected people in that world. It's a world that's a whole different world.
09:38And we're ahead of China now because of what I'm doing. And I think it's going to be very
09:43successful.
09:46If you just ask the Davos Forum again, that's NATO countries should spend 5% of GDP on defense.
09:52The United States don't spend 5%.
09:57We're protecting them. They're not protecting us. We're protecting them. So I don't think
10:02we should be spending. I'm not sure we should be spending anything, but we should certainly
10:06be helping them. But they should they should up their 2% to 5%.
10:12Mr. President, you said earlier during your speech at Davos that you would like to see
10:16interest rates come down. How much would you like to see them come down?
10:19I'd like to see them come down a lot and oil prices will come down. And when oil prices
10:23come down, everything's going to be cheaper for the American people and actually for the
10:27world, but for the American people. So I'd like to see oil prices come down. And when
10:32the energy comes down, that's going to knock out a lot of the inflation. That's going to
10:37automatically bring the interest rates down.
10:39Are you worried that there's too much going on at once if you're trying to bring interest
10:45rates down and get the economy back going?
10:47No, it just works that way. It just economically works that way. When the oil comes down, it'll
10:52bring down prices, then you won't have inflation, and then the interest rates will come down.
10:57You said that you would demand that the interest rates come down.
11:00I would put in a strong statement.
11:03Do you expect the Fed to listen to you?
11:05Yeah.
11:06Are you going to talk to Powell about this and bring the rates down?
11:10At the right time, I would.
11:11Sir, do you know if there were any of the people you pardoned that participated in the
11:15January 6th, 2021 campaign? Do you plan to meet with any of them or meet with them at
11:18the White House?
11:19I don't know. I'm sure that they probably would like to. I did them something important.
11:23But what they did is they were protesting a crooked election. I mean, people understand
11:28that also. And they were treated very badly. Nobody's been treated like that. So I'd be
11:35open to it, certainly. I don't know of anything like that. But I think they're going to meet
11:39in some of the congresspeople, congressmen, women want to meet. But I'd certainly be open
11:46to it.
11:47Have you spoken to them since you issued the pardons?
11:48I haven't spoken to any of them yet, but I know they're very happy.
11:51Mr. President, does it...
11:53I gave them their life back. Their life was taken away from them unnecessarily and unfairly.
11:58I gave them their life back. So I can imagine they probably would like to.
12:02Mr. President, what does it mean when you said that Biden took bad advice and not pardoned
12:06himself yesterday?
12:07Well, he did. I think he did because he pardoned all these people that are crooked as hell.
12:13Look, the congressmen, they're crooked. What they did is they destroyed evidence. When
12:18you destroy evidence, especially criminally like that, they did it criminally. And the
12:23reason they destroyed the evidence is because it proved that I was right. They didn't destroy
12:27the evidence for no reason. They destroyed it because they found many documents saying
12:31that I offered 10,000 soldiers. If they had 500 soldiers or National Guard, there would
12:39have been no problem. If they had 200, that would have been... I offered 10,000 if they
12:43needed them. There would have been no problem. That's been now totally disproven. And it's
12:47also been disproven by Nancy Pelosi's daughter, who has her on tape saying it was her fault
12:53that she has full responsibility for this. And they have all this. They destroyed everything.
13:00And they go through a year and a half, two years of nonsense. They come up with tremendous
13:07evidence, and they destroyed evidence. And Schiff knew about it. That's why he's on there.
13:13He knew all about the destruction of evidence. A lot of people said he's the one that got
13:16him to do it. And he's a crooked guy, you know, totally crooked politician. And so he's
13:22pardoned, and some other people are pardoned. And these are crooked politicians, every one
13:27of them. Benny Johnson, what he did is incredible. I mean, he was the leader of the committee
13:32and he did it. Cheney, crying Adam Kinzinger, all of them. They destroyed evidence and deleted
13:40everything. There's nothing. There's no evidence now. They're crooked politicians, and they
13:46should be punished. You know, that's even in a civil trial, you go to jail for a thing
13:51like that. They destroyed every document, from what I understand, every document, because
13:57it proved that I was totally innocent.
14:01Does the president plan to send up to 10,000 troops to the southern border soon?
14:05Yeah. Southern border?
14:07Yes, the border.
14:08When you say southern border, when I said 10,000 troops, I was referring to the capital.
14:12Oh, I see. And when do you plan to do that?
14:17I offered 10,000 troops to the capital before January 6th.
14:22And as for the 1,500 at the southern border, sir, to clarify, what exactly do you want
14:27them to be doing right now?
14:29Making sure that the border is safe and secure and that criminals don't come into our country.
14:35Mr. President, do you think that sanctions on Russia will force President Putin to negotiate?
14:40I don't know, but I think he should make a deal.
14:43Mr. President, does it bother you that Elon Musk criticized a deal that you made publicly
14:47that he said that he tweeted that?
14:49No, it doesn't. He hates one of the people in the deal.
14:52Have you spoken to him since then?
14:54No, no. Well, I've spoken to Elon, but I've spoken to all of them, actually.
14:58The people in the deal are very, very smart people, but Elon, one of the people he happens
15:03to hate, but I have certain hatreds of people, too.
15:06Sir, on China, what do you think Xi Jinping can do on the Ukraine-Russia war?
15:12Which one?
15:13This Ukraine-Russia war. What can Xi Jinping do about that?
15:16China?
15:17Yeah.
15:18They have a lot of power over Russia.
15:22They supply energy to Russia.
15:27And Russia supplies energy to them.
15:30They supply other things to, you know, it's really a very big trade.
15:34It's a very big trading partner.
15:36But Russia supplies a lot of energy to China.
15:40China pays them a lot of money for that.
15:42And I think they have a lot of power over Russia.
15:45So I think Russia should want to make a deal.
15:47Maybe they want to make a deal.
15:48I think, from what I hear, Putin would like to see me.
15:51And we'll meet as soon as we can.
15:53I'd meet immediately.
15:54Every day we don't meet, soldiers are being killed on a battlefield.
15:58And that battlefield is like no battlefield since World War II.
16:05And I have pictures that you don't want to see.
16:09Soldiers are being killed on a daily basis at numbers that we haven't seen in decades.
16:16And it would be nice to end that war.
16:18It's a ridiculous war.
16:19You said that Ukraine is ready to make a deal.
16:21Did President Zelensky tell you that personally?
16:24He's ready to negotiate a deal.
16:26He'd like to stop.
16:27He's somebody that lost a lot of soldiers.
16:33And so did Russia lost a lot.
16:35Russia lost more soldiers.
16:37They lost 800,000 soldiers.
16:40Would you say that's a lot?
16:42I'd say it's a lot.
16:43Mr. President, you said that you wanted to make Dr. King's dream a reality.
16:47What's your response to his children and civil rights leaders who say that your DEI orders are a contradiction of his dream
16:54and could further drive racial disparities?
16:56Well, I haven't heard that.
16:57Mr. President, you put the Houthis back on the terror list.
17:01How do you see the war in Yemen ending?
17:04Well, we'll see what happens.
17:05But they can't shoot down our ships, the Houthis.
17:09Yes.
17:10And you can't shoot down our ships or any ships.
17:13And that's what they've been doing.
17:14So they're on the terror list.
17:16That's not good for them.
17:18So why did you revoke security protections for former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Brian Huck?
17:24Well, the same reason.
17:26When you have protection, you can't have it for the rest of your life.
17:30Do you want to have a large detail of people guarding people for the rest of their lives?
17:34I mean, there's risks to everything.
17:38Sir, would you support striking Iran's nuclear facilities?
17:42Say it.
17:43Would you support Israel, for example, striking Iran's nuclear facilities?
17:48Well, I'm not going to answer that.
17:49Obviously, I'm not going to answer that question.
17:51We'll have to see.
17:52I'm going to be meeting with various people over the next couple of days.
17:56We'll see.
17:57Hopefully, that can be worked out without having to worry about it.
18:00It would be nice.
18:01It would really be nice if that could be worked out without having to go that further step.
18:05And who are you going to meet with?
18:07Well, I'd rather not say that, but very high-level people.
18:10But hopefully, that can be worked out.
18:12You know, look, Iran hopefully will make a deal.
18:15And if they don't make a deal, I guess that's okay, too.
18:18And, Mr. President, just to follow up, you said you think the Fed should listen to you.
18:23Can you elaborate on why you think it should?
18:25With regard to interest rates?
18:26Correct, yes.
18:27Because I think I know interest rates much better than they do.
18:30And I think I know it certainly much better than the one who's primarily in charge of making that decision.
18:37But, no, I'm guided by them very much.
18:40But if I disagree, I will let it be known.
18:42Sir, your tariff plans for China and Mexico are much tougher.
18:46The ones for Canada and Mexico are much tougher than the ones for China.
18:49Why is it softer for China?
18:50Well, China's already paying a lot of tariffs because of me.
18:54And when you add them up, I would say, you know, they're paying a lot.
18:58They paid hundreds of billions of dollars.
19:00They never paid 10 cents until I came along.
19:03When I came along, they paid hundreds of—they've paid hundreds of billions of dollars.
19:10Never paid anything.
19:12And so they've already started at a higher base.
19:16Is February 1st the date for Chinese tariffs as well, sir, February 1?
19:20Or was that just Mexico and Canada?
19:22Mexico and Canada, but we're talking about China too.
19:25Look, China's sending us tremendous amounts of bad drugs, fentanyl, really bad stuff.
19:31Most of it comes through Mexico.
19:35And we're losing, I think, 300,000 lives a year because of that.
19:40People say 150, 100, 120.
19:43I think 300,000 lives a year.
19:45Those are old numbers.
19:47The other—the lower number is a low number.
19:49And we can't have that.
19:51They've got to stop sending it.
19:53I had a deal with President Xi, but it was a deal that wasn't followed up by Biden, of course,
19:57where they were going to issue the death penalty to people that make fentanyl.
20:02And that would have stopped it.
20:04But we'll have to stop it with tariffs.
20:08Thank you very much, everybody.
20:11Don't miss out.
