00:00This week we meet the Sand Grown Beardsmen who are hoping to bring the

00:04World Beard and Moustache Championships to their hometown of Blackpool.

00:08A lot of them have pretty big beards so my tactic is to go short.

00:14I was like right I'm gonna grow a beard for a year and then that sort of stumbled

00:18then into sort of the discovery that there was clubs.

00:22Do you know how much razor blades cost?

00:24You know it was like I've had enough of this, paying now for razor blades.

00:29I've always, from being young, hated shaving. I've never been very good at it.

00:35I look like Edward Scissorhands has been at my face.

00:38Recently we've done the British Beard and Moustache Championships down in Plymouth

00:41where I managed to sort of retain my British title and take it for a third time.
