Leeds: Your reflections on Brexit, 5 years on

With the 5th anniversary of the UK leaving the EU approaching, what are your reflections on Brexit?

00:00There was a lot of mention of immigration and that, and said that we'd be able to trade with the rest of the world.

00:09And that's not come off. I've not seen any benefits. I'm sure there's probably one or two, but not what I've seen.

00:17The UK has struggled in many different ways, one of them being supply chains and the increase of prices due to the transportation costs,

00:26the fees that lorries and companies and businesses are having to pay.

00:30Simple things just like queuing in airports, it's a nightmare. That's probably just a big bugbear of mine.

00:38I do understand the concern relating to free movement of people, but I think it could have been dealt with in a different way,

00:45maybe by entering into some form of bespoke agreement whereby we're still in the EU, we still get the economical and financial benefits,

00:54but place some form of restriction which is feasible that works for the UK.
