00:00The Department of Foreign Affairs is also closely monitoring any indication of a possible espionage operation by foreigners in the Philippines.

00:09This is after a Chinese national and two Filipinos were caught carrying out surveillance operations in several civilian and military installations.

00:20DFA Spokesperson Maria Teresita Daza stated that the DFA is supporting the investigation by the authorities to the point of espionage.

00:31The official added that any indication of espionage is a serious matter in our country.

00:37The suspects were caught on January 17 in the operation of the National Bureau of Investigation in Makati City.
