00:00Um, I think it's a reality now that in the modern state of streaming television,

00:04a lot of people say, well, I couldn't discovery go 100 episodes,

00:07but even at its peak,

00:08there were executive producers tell me like 100 episodes in the streaming thing.

00:11That's a tall order.

00:13Um, Alex, do you think there's a possibility of any modern track show

00:17hitting 100 episodes in this day and age?

00:19I don't know. It's very hard.

00:20You know, I mean, the fact that we've gone five seasons is sort of a miracle.

00:24I think most people watch two seasons of a streaming show and they check out,

00:28you know, and that's not specific to Trek.

00:30I just think that's the watch pattern for television, you know,

00:33in the streaming world. It's hard to know. Um,

00:35I think that my guess would be that it would be unlikely Mick. Um,

00:41but in some ways I think what's lovely about that is, you know, you watch,

00:45you know, it's funny. You can talk to, to old writers of old Trek series,

00:50and they're like, man, we were, there's a bunch of filler episodes in there.

00:53We were just trying to get to 22 a season, you know, and, and you,

00:55we all know what those episodes were.

00:57We know the ones that were truly bit stellar from the ones that felt like they

01:00were kind of spinning their wheels.

01:02And so I think what 10 episodes a season forces you to do is really make sure

01:05that every story counts as much as it possibly can. And I like that, you know,

01:09I like that. I like what that affords us now.
