00:06When we researched the whole country, we came to know that the Bangalore police has passed such an act.

00:12On the basis of that act, we have sent the Jharkhand government in the form of a model act.

00:19And in which we have kept a guideline that if in a shop, in a house, in a hotel, in a restaurant,

00:27in a particular amount of time, we do not want to trouble a small person.

00:30But if it is a big business, if it is a liquor shop, if it is a jewellery shop,

00:36if it is a bank where cash comes, if it is a petrol pump, then cameras should be installed there.

00:43You see, the Mumbai case, the attempt on the actor, CCTV camera has also been caught in that.

00:52CCTV camera is a very important tool for detection of crime.

00:55So we want to apply it in a large scale in the branch.

00:58But for this, we need a law.

01:00We have sent the Jharkhand government in the form of a small prototype of that law.

01:05We hope that we will be able to implement it.

01:08Sir, for a small information, what is in this act?

01:12If you have read the Bangalore police.

01:14In this act, there is a provision that the government will decide through a notification

01:20that in which institutions it has to be installed.

01:23And then it will be preserved for 30 days.

01:26And if there is a crime in the local police station, then it will be allowed to leave from there.

01:33And there will also be a role of the district or subdivision SDM, which is also called the subdivision magistrate.

01:42If he does not follow it, then the SDM can go and direct him.

01:46This power was given to the police on purpose.

01:48We do not want our police officers to go to people's institutions and investigate the crime.

01:53But we have given this power to the magistrate.
