00:05between Ole Miss and Texas A&M. John, you see a short spread in favor of the

00:11running rebs in Oxford, just about three and a half points. What are we going to

00:15learn about these two teams coached by Buzz Williams and Chris Beard tonight?

00:19Well, if a team is coached by Buzz Williams, it's a team that resembles a

00:23prizefighter. If it's a team that's coached by Chris Beard, it kind of

00:27resembles a tough welterweight. This is going to be as physical of a game as

00:31we've seen this year in the SEC, but it's also a showcase. It's a showcase for

00:36somebody that I think is the least appreciated transfer in college

00:40basketball, and that's Texas A&M's Zurich Phelps. The transfer from SMU is

00:45leading the Aggies in scoring and was huge at bridging the gap a couple of

00:50weeks ago when All-American guard Wade Taylor IV was out of the lineup.

00:55And you have to remember this when you think about Texas A&M, where it was, where

01:00it is now, and then where it's going. Texas A&M returned 82.5% of its scoring

01:07from last year's team that went to the second round of the NCAA tournament and

01:11lost to Houston. We know that. We understand that. But Buzz Williams'

01:16portal class, and I wrote about this today in my daily column, the portal

01:21class of Pharrell Payne and C.J. Wilcher, who came off the bench Saturday

01:27against LSU to have nine points in 15 minutes, elevates the ceiling in College

01:31Station. Ben, this is a poker game, and I'm shoving all my chips in the middle of

01:36the table to quote the late, great New York Giant coach Jim Fossil. Texas A&M is

01:41final for good.
