प्रयागराज में चल रहे महाकुंभ मेले में सरकारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक 10 लाख से अधिक कल्पवासी पूरे मेला क्षेत्र में रहकर कल्पवास कर रहे हैं.

00:42It is done from the full moon of the post or from the beginning of Makar Sankranti to the full moon of the month.

00:47Kalpavasa is to give good karmas.

00:51Good means one who has no desires.

00:53When one attains good karmas, he is liberated.

00:58So, when a Kalpavasi enters, he should worship Ganga Ji.

01:05And he should ask for forgiveness from Ganga Ji and accept the permission to enter.

01:10Because this is the area of Ganga.

01:12After that, a hut should be made and a tree of Kedali and Tulasi Maa should be planted in front of each hut.

01:23Kalpavasa, as it is described in the scriptures, is like a kalpa for a human being.

01:30Kalpavasa is to give the result of penance of 4,32,000,000 years in one month.

01:38And we have come here to practice the mind on the banks of this Patitpavani.

01:44It is Kalpavasa to give up material happiness and move towards true happiness.

01:49And true happiness is the attainment of God.

01:52The peace of the mind.

01:56And when will we get peace?

01:59When we put our mind in God.

02:02On the banks of Ganga, we will purify the mind.

02:05As it is said in the scriptures, why is Ganga called Ganga?

02:12Because Ganga is equal to Ga, Dhan and Anga.

02:16Ga means Gharal.

02:18Ganga is named because it destroys the poison of all the organs.

02:26And Kalpavasa is to purify the mind.

02:30And worshiping is the name of Kalpavasa.
