Sal on Chiefs Run Defense Struggling

Sal gives some interesting data about the Chiefs run defense struggling as of late, and explains how the Bills may take advantage.

00:04They play Cleveland in December 6.6, 4.9, 6.5 and then they had the game against Denver

00:12where I mean they got killed but Denver didn't run the ball that great but I mean like for

00:16some reason I don't know why the Chiefs rush defense has not been nearly as good and last

00:22week 5.1 they allowed per carry against the Texans team with a banged up Joe Mixon and

00:28not a great offensive line.

00:30I think this game, I'd like to see what the reasoning is but it feels to me like the Bills

00:36might be able to run the ball a lot better in this game than they did the first game

00:39for whatever reason.

00:40Well I'll give you one reason.

00:41If that's the case then I think you want to be able to do that.

00:43One reason is Spencer Brown.

00:45I mean you want to run the ball better, having Spencer Brown out there who is a road grading

00:49offensive lineman in the run game, he missed that game.

00:53Right and I mean I'm saying but from their side, from the Chiefs side, they've given

00:56up a lot more yards is what I'm saying.

01:02But you're right, in that game the Bills couldn't run the ball.

01:12didn't but the last few games maybe they were, maybe there's nothing to read into it.

01:16But I do feel that to your point Jeremy about third downs, I think the Bills were in third

01:21and long a little too often and if they can run the ball better, the way they have pretty

01:26much all year and the Chiefs have been allowing that a little bit more, I think you're getting

01:29much more manageable third downs and now you start controlling the game a little bit better.
