Spain's princess Leonor arrives in Gran Canaria before sailing to America

Spain’s princess Leonor arrives on Jan. 21, 2025 in Gran Canaria island on board the navy's Juan Sebastian de Elcano training ship. She waved when arriving at port, the last stop before the trip to Brazil’s Salvador de Bahia. Leonor left on Jan. 11 with 76 other navy midshipmen on board the 113 meter-long (371 ft) ship to begin a six month journey to America.
