00:00Sweeping change with the stroke of a pen, America's 47th president wasted no time to impose his will on the U.S. government,

00:08moving swiftly to issue a raft of far-reaching executive orders.

00:14First, I'll revoke nearly 80 destructive and radical executive actions of the previous administration,

00:22one of the worst administrations in history, maybe the worst, not one of them, the worst.

00:27Anybody that would allow millions of people to pour through our borders.

00:32Trump moved quickly to clamp down on illegal immigration, declaring a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border

00:40and ending a policy granting citizenship on those born in the United States.

00:45Echoing his first term in office, President Trump once again withdrew the United States from the Paris climate deal

00:53and began the year-long process of leaving the World Health Organization,

00:57accusing it of mishandling the COVID-19 pandemic and requiring unfairly onerous payments.

01:05The WHO responded by saying it regretted Trump's decision.

01:09We hope the United States will reconsider and we look forward to engaging in constructive dialogue

01:15to maintain the partnership between the United States of America and WHO.

01:20Trump also pardoned about 1,500 of his supporters who attacked the U.S. Capitol four years ago

01:27and ordered 14 leaders of far-right militant groups to be released from prison early, but left their convictions intact.

01:35From this moment on, America's decline is over.

01:43Billionaire Elon Musk's new role, cutting swathes of government spending,

01:48was confirmed with the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency.

01:52Trump also ordered a freeze on federal hiring.

01:56Meanwhile, Trump also said he would issue orders to scrap federal diversity programs

02:01and require the government to recognize only two genders assigned at birth.

02:06For many Americans, Trump's orders may feel like a return to common sense.

02:11Others will be deeply concerned that the progressive policies introduced by President Biden are being wiped away.

02:18What is certain is that Trump will face huge pushback and legal challenges

02:23as he once again attempts to remake the country in his own image.
