राजस्थान में छात्रों की आत्महत्या के मामले बढ़े हैं. इसका मुख्य कारण छात्रों में अवसाद और दबाव  को माना जा रहा है.

00:06From January 2019 to June 2020.

00:11I saw an alarming figure.

00:14They say that 87 children have been killed by the police.

00:22And if you look at the suicides of these 87 children,

00:27the shocking thing is that there is a 8-year-old girl who committed suicide,

00:31a 14-year-old girl who committed suicide,

00:33and she committed suicide because of her studies,

00:35and the girl who studied in coaching.

00:37And all these children, look,

00:40about 70% of the children are under the age of 18.

00:45And those who are coming from other states and studying,

00:50Jodhpur, Kota and Sikar are the big hubs of suicide.

00:58In Kota, about 62 children committed suicide.

01:02In Sikar, 17 children committed suicide.

01:06It is very alarming.

01:08What is the reason for committing suicide?

01:11Mental stress.

01:13But what is mental stress?

01:16Regarding studies, regarding selection.

01:18A 24-year-old girl committed suicide in Himachal Pradesh.

01:22She had been preparing for her Ph.D. for the last 6 years.

01:26She failed in her Ph.D. and committed suicide.

01:30Look, the competition in entrance examinations is increasing.

01:39That is the biggest reason.

01:42Instead of staying at home,

01:45they have to go to an unknown city

01:48and perform in a competitive environment.

01:53There, tests are conducted every week and every month,

01:58which increases the level of competition in them.

02:03When they are staying away from home,

02:07they are not doing any exercise,

02:10they are not doing any entertainment.

02:13To fulfill their unfulfilled dreams,

02:18they make their children a medium.

02:21Because of this, they always say,

02:24pay attention to your studies,

02:27we are spending so much money on you.

02:31The competitive environment of Kulmila,

02:36they don't have to exercise,

02:39they don't have to participate in entertainment,

02:42they don't have a trustworthy person

02:45with whom they can share their emotions.

03:41It handles mental problems and challenges efficiently.

03:53they gradually start thinking of quitting.

03:59I can't do it anymore.

04:01The hope in them is over.

04:06I won't be able to perform anything in life.

04:09And gradually,

04:11they find a solution to all their problems.
