00:43President Donald Trump on Monday, January 20, pardons almost everyone criminally charged

00:47with participating in the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol attack.

00:52The action cuts short the sentence of 14 members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers

00:56organizations, some of whom were convicted of seditious conspiracy.

01:00It also directs the U.S. Attorney General to drop pending cases related to the riot.

01:05This is Trump fulfilling his campaign promise to assist his supporters charged with participating

01:09in the siege.

01:10Meantime, Trump also launches his sweeping immigration crackdown, labeling illegal immigration

01:15a national emergency.

01:17The action includes deploying the military to support border security, constructing a

01:21border wall, and restricting asylum.

01:24He also calls for his administration to reinstate his Remain in Mexico program that forced non-Mexican

01:29migrants to wait in Mexico for the resolution of their U.S. cases.

01:33Shortly after Trump's inauguration, authorities say they shut down Biden's CBP-1 entry program,

01:38which allowed migrants to schedule legal entry into the U.S.

01:43U.S. President Donald Trump signs an executive order Monday, January 20, seeking to delay

01:48by 75 days the enforcement of the TikTok ban.

01:51The popular short video app was slated for shutdown in the U.S. on January 19.

01:56Trump's order directs the Attorney General to not enforce the law to allow his administration

02:01quote, an opportunity to determine the appropriate course of action with respect to TikTok.

02:06It also directs the Justice Department to issue letters to companies that work with

02:09TikTok like Apple, Google, and Oracle.

02:13The letter states that TikTok is clear of statute violation and of liability for any

02:17conduct within the period it was scrutinized for policy action.

02:21When asked what his TikTok order does, Trump says it quote, gives him the right to sell

02:25or close the company.

02:27He also says he needed to make a decision on the matter.

02:32President Donald Trump announces the U.S. will exit the World Health Organization, saying

02:36the agency mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other health crises.

02:40Trump says the WHO failed to act independently from what he calls the inappropriate political

02:45influence of its member states.

02:47He also notes the demand for quote, unfairly onerous payments from the U.S., which he argued

02:53were disproportionate compared to larger countries like China.

02:56The decision means the U.S. will withdraw from the United Nations Health Agency in 12

03:00months.

03:01The U.S. will also halt financial contributions, which provided 18% of the WHO's total funding.

03:08Experts warned that this could jeopardize key programs, including those addressing tuberculosis,

03:12HIV-AIDS, and other health emergencies.

03:15In 2020, Trump accused the WHO of assisting China in misleading the world about COVID-19's

03:21origins.

03:23The Sandigan Bayan finds former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and his administrator

03:27Aldrin Cunha guilty of graft for an anomalous 32.11 million process automation system for

03:33City Hall.

03:34Bautista, also known as Bistek from his actor days, and Cunha are sentenced to 6 to 10 years

03:39in prison for approving the full payment of 32,107,912 pesos and 50 centavos to Geodata

03:47Solutions Incorporated.

03:49The city paid the amount despite the firm's failure to deliver a working online occupational

03:53permitting and tracking system.

03:55The two are also perpetually disqualified from holding any government office.

03:59The Sandigan Bayan points out quote, the rush to effect payment to Geodata just two days

04:04before the term of office of both accused expired.

04:07It adds, the move indicates quote, corrupt intent.

04:12Global icon Gordon Ramsay graces the Newport World Resorts Theater for his exclusive event

04:17on Monday, January 20 with a fun Mini MasterChef Halo-Halo Challenge.

04:21Among the challengers are YouTube creator Ninong Ry, celebrity chef Judy Ann Santos,

04:26culinary student Danica Lucero, and Gordon Ramsay Philippines' head chef Bea Cua.

04:31Judy Ann Santos put a strong twist to her Halo-Halo with a black sesame polvoron to

04:35give a balance of sweetness and saltiness that Ramsay loved and complimented.

04:40Meantime, content creator Ninong Ry makes a bold approach with his coconut jam infused

04:44with icy milk, surprising Ramsay with its sweetness.

04:47CCA Manila culinary student Danica Lucero adds a tangy twist with a kamias compote and

04:52receives Ramsay's approval with her visually stunning Halo-Halo.

04:56Gordon Ramsay Philippines' head chef Bea Cua uses cane sugar and mango ice cream with

05:00tibuoc salt for her unique version.

05:03Lucero was declared the winner of the challenge.
