00:00The Clearing Operations were accompanied by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority in Lungsod, Malabon, and Takalogan City.

00:09They are in line to do a rehabilitation in EDSA Southbound in March this year.

00:24The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, or MMDA, carried out a clearing operation on several streets in Manila and Takalogan City today.

00:37The MMDA's men quickly searched the streets of Ibarra and Dos Castillas in Manila.

00:43They found several cars illegally parked.

00:46The motorcycle with no helmet was given a ticket.

00:50In Laonlaan, they found several lawns used by flower vendors.

00:55They found several vendors who crossed the sidewalk and stole a truck.

00:59In Balo and Samarral, in Takalogan, they found several obstructions such as a cart, box, and ramp.

01:08They also found several cars, jeep, tricycles, and motorcycles illegally parked.

01:13The motorists were fined P1,000 for attended illegal parking.

01:19And P2,000 for unattended illegal parking.

01:22The MMDA carried out clearing operations so that several streets that serve as alternative routes can be properly passed.

01:29This will implement the Discipline in the Traffic Law.

01:33The operation is also being prepared for the rehabilitation of EDSA Southbound in March,

01:37where it is expected to close the roads of vehicles.

01:42Many of our motorists will definitely be using the alternative routes.

01:48So as early as now, we want to inform, we want to do the part of cleaning the roads.

01:54Our duty is that the MMDA has two vehicles.

02:01They will continue to call on the motorists who followed the Traffic Law

02:06to avoid being fined and to maintain the roads in Metro Manila.
