சென்னை ஐஐடி: விளையாட்டு பிரிவில் தேசிய வீரர்கள் 5 பேர் சேர்க்கை!

சென்னை ஐஐடியில் விளையாட்டில் சிறந்து விளங்குவோருக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை (SEA) பிரிவின் கீழ், தேசிய அளவில் சாதனைப் படைத்த 5 தடகள வீரர் - வீராங்கனைகள் சேர்ந்துள்ளனர்.

00:00Hello. Two years ago, I created a channel called Sports Excellence Admission.

00:10Through that, I wanted to give admission to students who have excelled in sporting in IIT.

00:20With this desire, we launched the Sports Excellence Admission Programme in July.

00:32Through this, we have admitted 5 students in July.

00:38Aryaman Mandal, who has won in swimming and water polo,

00:46Nandini Jain, who has won in squash,

00:50Prabhav Gupta, who has won in table tennis,

00:54Veeravachan Reddy, who has won in tennis and is a national tennis ranked player,

01:01Aarohi Bhave, who is a volleyball player.

01:04These 5 students have studied here through Sports Excellence Admission.

01:12They have qualified at the JEE Advanced level.

01:16Thanks to their sporting medals and accomplishments,

01:22they have been able to get their branch and their admission here.

01:29In the coming year, this programme will be an encouragement to students.

01:40Our director, Prof. Kamakoti, has designed this programme with the thought that

01:47the students who pursue sports in our country should not lack in their studies.

01:59I am very proud to teach these students here.

02:05In the coming year, it should be a symbol of their excellence.

02:16In parallel to this pursuit, there is another initiative.

02:20A Centre of Excellence in Sports Science and Analytics, CESA, has been formed.

02:30Through this centre, we develop technology tools for athletes at national and international level.

02:42We develop technology tools and sensors for their training and performance needs.

02:53This is the first task of this centre.

02:58We also teach sports psychology and sports analytics.

03:05This is a development for sporting in India.

03:11This is a development for sporting talent.

03:13This is a system that Aarohi needs.

03:18This is the focus of CESA.

03:24Join CESA and the Sports Excellence Admission Programme and support them.

03:32Sporting should not be a side pursuit. It should be a main pursuit.
