01:07As far as Paravdhoja is concerned, in Mughal times, when these forts were built,

01:20like Akbar's Fort, all these were their headquarters.

01:24And they tried their best to restrict bathing.

01:28It is not as if they have given up on bathing.

01:34But till date, the Kumbhs have been moving at a fast pace.

01:38So, Panchayat Akhada Mahanirvani fought the Gyanvapi war in 1664.

01:48In 1664, they defeated Aurangzeb's army and drove them away.

01:52In 1679, they had 40,000 Sanyasi Mata Naths.

01:59And just like that, everything was destroyed.

02:01These Sanyasi Mata Naths are great martyrs.

02:03When an Akhada is built, it is not as if anyone wants to build an Akhada.

02:07There is a history of Garima, Poon and Inkaya behind them.

02:12So, after the Gyanvapi war, they tried their best to restrict bathing.

02:22At that time, Rajendra Girirji Maharaj, who was with 23,000 Sanyasi Mata Naths,

02:28was the commander of the Akhada.

02:30And all the other Sanyasi Mata Naths were under his control.

02:35And the Mughals said, you cannot bathe.

02:38They said, we will bathe.

02:40And if you have the courage, you can stop them.

02:42So, when all the Nagas were called,

02:44and all the other Akhadas, including the Nagas and Sanyasi Mata Naths,

02:47they all joined the Mahanirvani Akhada,

02:49the Akhada of Atal and Mahanirvani, in Agwai.

02:51Because at that time, they were under their control.

02:53In Agwai, they all set up this Paravdhoja here,

02:57at 3 o'clock at night,

02:59and went inside the Ganges,

03:00and while worshipping every Mahadev,

03:02they bathed with a challenge.

03:04This Paravdhoja is a symbol of maintaining the integrity of this Kumbh.

03:14And we always remember this,

03:16that we have to maintain the tradition of this Kumbh.

03:20We have to let the tradition of bathing continue.

03:24This is what we have to do.

03:29Of course, this Paravdhoja was set up with a challenge.

03:32When we went to bathe at Makar Sankranti,

03:35we set up this Paravdhoja,

03:37and went inside at night,

03:39and bathed in Brahma Murti.

03:41So, these traditions are not just like that.
