Eyewitness footage captured the emotional moment a woman was reunited with her sheep in Malibu, California, after the wildfires on Friday, January 10.

Reuters was able to independently verify the location of the videos from the property, barn's structure, and fences, which matched file and satellite imagery of the place. The date was verified by the original file metadata.

Animal facilities, veterinarians, and rescue organizations have taken in and assisted dogs, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, and other creatures that were displaced by the ongoing fires along with their human owners.
