00:00The fond memories of Aankhe are very fond

00:06In fact I came in 1987 and Govinda ji came 1 year before me

00:11in 1986 with Love 86 and all those films

00:15But we didn't work together till 1993

00:18So it was almost 6-7 years

00:20And when we got this opportunity with Aankhe

00:24This film which was made, very few people know about it

00:28I think once someone has mentioned this

00:31Pailaj Nilani ji was originally supposed to make a film with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan

00:38And he didn't get the chance

00:40And I think Raj Santoshi ji launched Aandaz Apna Apna

00:45So he said that I couldn't make a film with him

00:48Maybe I will make a film like this

00:50But in my style and with my heroes

00:53So he made Aankhe with me and Govinda

00:56So when he left, he wanted to make something bigger and better than Aandaz Apna Apna

01:01But Aankhe was made

01:03And of course, too many lovely memories

01:06We made that film very fast

01:08We completed the film in 6 months

01:10Because we wanted to come before Aandaz Apna Apna

01:13And of course it was all healthy competition

01:17I think my most fondest memories would be with Govinda and Kadar bhai

01:23The sequences of the whole house

01:27The two spoiled kids and his high flying father

01:32I think that was most entertaining

01:34Bade Kaam Ka Bandar when we shot

01:36Especially iconic locations like Juhu beach, Gateway of India

01:40And the monkey was a superstar

01:43His salary was more than us

01:45And he had 6-7 bodyguards who used to look after him

01:51But he was a superstar monkey

01:54So those are fond fond memories

01:58I would love to make Aankhe every year of my life

02:01Right now I am wearing spectacles and I can't even see my eyes
