05:25this state is one of the most backward states.

05:28You cannot compare the customers of the banks

05:31with other big states.

05:34But the challenge is that

05:37even today, when the bankers make policies,

05:40or make their programs,

05:43they take only 30% of the population into consideration.

05:46No one thinks about the 70% population

05:49who live in the villages.

05:52And this is the reason that

05:55our government has taken such a decisive decision

05:58to pardon the KCC loan.

06:01But even today, the farmers and the villagers

06:04do not know that the loan is pardoned centrally.

06:07There is no need to go to the branch.

06:10But even then, the villagers go to the bank

06:13and ask the manager to pardon their loan.

06:16They think that the bank manager will press a button

06:19and the loan will be pardoned.

06:22And there are some bankers who take advantage of this.

06:25They scold them and make them run away.

06:28So there is a lot of exploitation like this.

06:31Because we are people who are connected to the land level.

06:34So we constantly see and experience this.

06:37And there are BCs.

06:40Banks have appointed BCs on a rural level.

06:43Their job is to go to rural areas

06:46and help the villagers with small things

06:49like opening a bank account.

06:52I don't talk about everyone,

06:55but there are some people who have come out to collect money.

06:58If they want to withdraw their money,

07:01then give them Rs. 1000.

07:04If they want to open a bank account,

07:07then give them Rs. 2000.

07:10And because of all these things,

07:13the villagers lose faith.

07:16I would like to tell you that there are some villages

07:19where people have fled in fear of the loan recovery.

07:22People have left the village.

07:25When the RBI has made all these rules

07:28and the entire method of recovery has been defined,

07:31I have told the bankers and the SLBC

07:34that we talk about a lot of big things here,

07:37but to implement them,

07:40we need to understand

07:43how we are working with the community

07:46and with the population.

07:49You will see that in every SLBC meeting,

07:52it is said that land mortgages cannot be paid

07:55because of the CNTSPT law.

07:58We need to understand

08:01how the CNTSPT can give loans
