00:50Sophie appears to be this very demure,

00:54but something about that rings hollow to her

01:17that becomes really interesting.

01:19Sophie's an incredibly complex, compelling character,

01:23and what unfolds in this show

01:24is unlike anything audiences have seen before.

01:32Gugu is a spectacular actress,

01:34and in this role, she has a challenge

01:36of not just being the Sophie that we meet in the pilot,

01:39but being all the different versions of Sophie.

01:42Gugu plays the character in such an engaging way.

01:44The character's so sympathetic

01:46because in a very sort of real way,

01:48it pulls apart what happens

01:50if you're not who you really are.

01:52There are depths to her that will go places

01:54that I think are really gonna surprise people.

01:57People are going to be really asking the question,

01:59what would you do in Sophie's situation

02:01if you really didn't know any of your own secrets?

02:04I hope people really enjoy the ride.
