00:00ready to go for France riding regular foot out of Val Thoreau so she's gonna

00:05be going home for the next event another rider studying under Marion Herty from

00:10just gaining that experience and another rider very comfortable in extremely

00:15steep and consequential terrain. She's so strong in terrain which is really

00:19impressive because her background is slopestyle so she's got that steep

00:23really technical riding but I think we're gonna see a lot of tricks out of

00:27her this season. Yeah riding on the French freestyle team so she's she's

00:31really comfortable in the air comfortable in this kind of terrain as

00:34well and you know I think sometimes the freestyle riders are a bit under whoa

00:38360 in the middle of the face little splash of powder there probably stuck it

00:44so Noemi with a real strong start to this pulling a trick in the most

00:51consequential part of the face and just controlling her speed you know where you

00:55get that board pointed down for too long the speed comes up so quickly it's

00:59really really steep up there. Yeah we saw even Victor in this section really

01:03struggling to keep that speed under control really having to rely on that

01:08heel side edge and she's making these beautiful arcing turns all the way down

01:13yes another air to finish off the couloir holding strong you see that

01:19strength you see that preparation she has in the gym really paying off here

01:23Noemi cooking now flying across this flat section she's gonna transition from

01:29the shade out into the sunshine. Well a nice nice technique that we're seeing and

01:35real commitment to the fall line while maintaining great control. Yeah holding

01:40on to that heel side edge and she makes her way now this lower section of the

01:43face the intensity ramps up quickly there's a big feature underneath Noemi

01:47now as she's gonna move across and getting right over top popping directly

01:53over the rocks controlling the speed again great board control I was saying

01:57some slope style athletes I think are are a bit underappreciated for how good

02:01they are on their edges and how technical catching another one there so

02:06really ramping up the line score and bringing some speed into the run. Exactly

02:11this is a fast run it's a committed run it's a really fluid run from the French

02:16rider. You can see some parts of the snowpack kind of glowing there a lot of

02:22different snow conditions Noemi just dodging that rock on the bottom getting

02:27on the toe side pointing herself towards that three ride world tour finish arch

02:31as she is almost there and she's through the finish down and safe a strong run

02:36from the young French rookie Noemi Aki just trying to catch her breath now

02:41catching her breath and smiling she should feel really happy with this run

02:46yeah we'll take a look back here the top section very technical strong riding

02:50directly over her board adding in that Aaron style right in the middle section

02:58a little bit of a speed check afterwards but the commitment to make a spin there

03:03yeah it's impressive yeah and then taking that one straight over the rock

03:10face super fall line controlling the speed where she needed to letting it run

03:14where she could so really really strong run you know for for Noemi to get down

03:19there and see her good friend and riding partner riding buddy Anna Martina

03:24sitting in the hot seat the two French girls definitely definitely showing how

03:28strong the French freeride snowboard community is. Goggles back on looking

03:36straight into the Sun

03:46two friends patiently waiting I'm sure Marion is at home as well yes she's

03:51gonna be fired up her two young protege is both absolutely lighting it up here

03:56on this La Bamba face the Bikira Barrette Pro by Movistar the judges

04:02getting to work now you know they're comparing the runs to the criteria also

04:05comparing the runs to each other to see how they're going to rank them

04:23such great support from these athletes for each other they just have such a

04:26good time together they care so deeply about each other and the runs you know

04:31and you can always hear them kind of trading compliments at the bottom yeah

04:34and sometimes these 30 seconds one minute at the bottom can feel longer

04:39than your entire run waiting for that score oh yeah the intent every second is

04:44like it's like a minute of any other time the intensity just ramping up as

04:50you see these two young French women both just lace their runs here on La

04:55Bamba now we wait for the judges to have their say snowboard women the fourth

05:00category of the day here in Spain as the judges have spoken the score coming

05:06in and it's up at 76 the rookie into first a huge hug for her good friend
