00:00Because of the rainy season, the income of some businessmen in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte is low.

00:06That's why the local government is continuously concerned.

00:10Here is Rani Dorilag of Radyo Pilipinas Lawak.

00:15This is the tourist rest area that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. allowed in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte last year.

00:22It will surely be used by the tourists who will come here next month

00:26because of the activities of the local government for them.

00:30Our tourist rest area was helped because of the ongoing development of our municipal beach park.

00:40So we don't have a restroom inside.

00:42So what our visitors use is the restrooms of our tourist rest area.

00:49The activities such as the Battle of the Bund and 4x4 race that will start on February 14

00:55are being prepared by the LGO so that the tourists can still enjoy it now that the summer season is approaching.

01:00That's why the small businessmen in Pagudpud are happy with the programs of the local government,

01:07especially because their income is low.

01:09They are also thankful for the training and help of government agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry.

01:18In the last three days, we, the MSMEs of Ilocos Norte, also received a lot of help for our children's education.

01:28If the local government agrees,

01:30they will continue to support the development of tourism to help the small businessmen in Pagudpud.
