Police dog finds time to steal kisses with her dad — and another very important co-worker

00:10Besides being cute, Raider does have a really good nose and she's a really good narcotics detection dog.

00:16We have a strong bond and I think the stronger bond you have, the better work relationship that you have.

00:22Now here's Raider chewing on a treat.

00:31Sometimes it's hard. You see tragic accidents, you see people who are going through the worst times of their life.

00:38You get in the car and I'll just call Raider to come up here.

00:42And just like what she's doing right now, these kisses make everything better.

00:50We actually have another dog that works with us, canine Maddox.

00:54Yeah, you know Maddox. I remember the first time Raider and Maddox met.

00:58They started sniffing noses as her tail was going under by an hour.

01:02Typically a lot of police dogs don't get along, but they have a good relationship.

01:07And they do play. You know, we'll throw the ball and it's really cool to see.

01:12I always tell people, I'm like, well I don't think it'll really work out with Raider and Maddox anyway

01:16because we have a policy that says no interdepartmental dating.

01:31Oh my gosh, what are you doing Maddox? Get out of there!

01:35We do everything together.

01:40Raider really makes this job so much better to be able to have my best friend with me at work.
