Donald Trump is bestowing a new honor on his most vocal celebrity supporters ... tapping Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone as Hollywood's new Special Ambassadors.

00:31Now, what does the ambassadorship mean?

00:33There are things that it's clear

00:35Trump would like to see change,

00:37and he thinks that these three gentlemen can do that.

00:40In his announcement, this is what he said.

00:42It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson,

00:44and Sylvester Stallone to be special ambassadors

00:46to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California.

00:51They will serve as special envoys to me

00:53for the purpose of bringing Hollywood,

00:55which has lost much business over the last four years,

00:58to foreign countries back,

01:00bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.

01:04Now, that is true.

01:05Hollywood's lost a lot of business.

01:06And not, by the way, the one thing Trump's wrong on

01:08is it's not just foreign.

01:10It is Georgia. Other states.

01:12It is now Kentucky and Texas. Texas.

01:15It is so hard to make a movie or a television show

01:20in this state because it is overregulated.

01:24And I'm telling you, we live this.

01:26And it is an overregulated state.

01:30But what's interesting is this does put Donald Trump

01:35and Gavin Newsom in an octagon here.

01:38But what can he do?

01:40And I get the idea.

01:41And my take would be that it has gone too liberal

01:44and too woke.

01:45And I know Hollywood, it represents the makeup of Hollywood,

01:48but not necessarily the country.

01:49But these are private companies in many cases.
