02:34Poland brings luck, yes, for good luck.
02:38European Union countries' experience over the last 30 years is a great success, amazing transformation,
02:44and we talk a lot about Vikas and Pragati in India, but there is a lot of Vikas development,
02:50a lot of Pragati progress in Poland also.
02:53And now, as of January 1st, Poland has assumed the presidency of the EU Council.
02:58Two dimensions, external, internal, information, economic, energy, food and health.
03:05So what you will hear a lot, the word that you will hear a lot during the next six months,
03:10also here in India, is suraksha, security.
03:15And we understand the importance of working closely with our partners across the globe,
03:20with India being one of them, with new leadership established in the EU,
03:25a renewed mandate for Prime Minister Modi,
03:28and following last year's elections here in India,
03:32and Prime Minister Modi's historic visit to Poland,
03:36we are poised for even deeper engagement with India.
03:40We hope also that 2025 will bring an EU-India summit, finally,
03:46and meaningful progress in the free trade agreement negotiations,
03:50an effort Poland is committed to supporting during our presidency.
03:54I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome here today the new director of the Polish Institute,
04:00Mrs. Małgoszata Weiss-Gołębiak,
04:03who brings with her invaluable experience the insight having served in India before.

04:14And I would also like to express heartfelt thanks to IG International for bringing Polish apples to India.
04:20These apples that we have here today, and you see all around,
04:25are our pride and the symbol of the Polish presidency in the EU.
04:29So please enjoy, not only apples, but all the food that we have here and drinks.
