00:00How to train our mind not to compare ourself with others?

00:05Comparing yourself with others might be a secondary problem rather.

00:11The more fundamental thing is, do you really know where you stand and what you must be?

00:19That comparison is primal.

00:21And if to facilitate that comparison you need to compare yourself with others,

00:27there is no harm in comparing yourself to others.

00:30But before any comparison with an external entity,

00:35first of all there has to be an internal evaluation.

00:39Where do I stand and am I happy with myself?

00:42So it's a comparison of yourself versus yourself.

00:46It doesn't matter where the others are, it doesn't matter what the world is doing,

00:50it doesn't matter how the world looks at me,

00:53it doesn't matter what kind of ranks I have in a comparative sense.

00:56Am I alright with myself?

00:58Because much before you live with anybody else, you have to live with yourself.
