00:30Senior U.S. administration officials who previewed the announcement on the condition of anonymity
00:38said many dozens of prisoners and other considers by the U.S. would be released by the end of
00:48the Biden administration at noon on January 20.

00:55In the final days of Trump's first administration, on January 11, 2021, the White House reinstated
01:05the designation, which had been reversed during the period of re-approach between Cuba and
01:11the United States during President Barack Obama's second term in office.
