00:13After achieving a silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and a bronze medal in last year's Paris Olympics,
00:21double Olympic medalist Neste Petesho has made history in her boxing career.
00:26Despite these achievements, the 32-year-old Abueña fighter is looking forward to joining the Olympics once again for the last time.
00:34In a recent interview with Radyo Pilipinas Dos, Petesho reflected on her boxing journey and decided to fight for Olympic gold medal once more.
01:27According to Neste, she will have a long career ahead of her.
01:32In the third place, I told her that she should have been in the middle, in the top spot.
01:39But when I looked at the Chinese Taipei flag, our flag was there.
01:45So I said, wow, this is the sign of the Lord that I should continue.
01:51So I said, okay, I'll fight again.
01:54According to Neste, she will have a long preparation period for the Olympic Games and focusing on her current competition is her priority.
02:24I'm focusing on becoming a world champion again.
02:29And in the SEA Games, I want to maintain my position.
02:31So that's where I'm really focused.
02:33I don't feel any pressure on what the Olympics will be like.
02:39Because what I'm facing right now is a tournament, and that's what I'm really focusing on.
02:45The Filipina boxing sensation is currently in a two-month training camp in Baguio City to prepare for the SEA Games that will take place in December of this year.
