00:00The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission or PAOC revealed what they have achieved in the previous year as far as the president's all-out
00:07ban against POGOs is concerned.
00:10Executive Director Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz says PAOC has been able to shut down
00:1580% of POGOs and they are continuing to focus on those that have shifted to guerrilla-type operations or small-scale
00:22particularly in the Visayas and Mindanao region. The PAOC chief says the order for the president and their
00:28coordination with the DILG and the local government helped in ensuring the closure of POGOs in various areas.
00:34Also, the government has deported some 20,000 POGO workers spearheaded by the Bureau of Immigration or BI.
00:58The PAOC has no longer issued a permit and the directive of the SILG, John B. Cremulia, is that the local government units will not renew their permits.
01:11They can no longer renew their permits, especially in the areas where POGO hubs are operating.
