00:00At the same time, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the banning of POGOs in the country.

00:05The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, or PAOC,

00:09distributed their successes in the past year.

00:12In an interview with PAOC Executive Director Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz in the program Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon,

00:1780% of the POGOs were shut down and their commission was stopped.

00:23They also continue to target guerrilla operations or small-scale POGOs, particularly in Visayas and Pindanao.

00:30Usec Cruz also mentioned that the coordination of the Department of Interior and Local Government, or DILG,

00:38with the local governments is a big help to ensure that POGO operations are no longer in their hands.

00:43According to PAOC, more than 27,000 POGO workers were able to leave, according to the Bureau of Immigration.

00:53The DILG and our coordination with Secretary John B. Cremulia is good.

01:03And of course, the DOJ, because they are the ones who help us with the filing of cases.

01:07Because our PAG-COR has no longer been given a permit,

01:11and the directive of our SILG, John B. Cremulia, is that the local government units will not renew their permits.

01:20They will no longer be able to renew their permits, especially for the POGO hubs.
